CAUSTIC OR ACID CLEANING

For heat exchangers up to 20 feet long, HEAT can immerse your heat exchanger in a caustic soda or acid bath.  This process will remove baked on residue from both the outside and inside of the tubes or plates.  This allows all the tubes to be cleaned, including tubes inside the tube bundle.  This chemical bath will not harm copper, stainless steel or carbon steel tubes.  In addition to cleaning heat exchangers by immersion, HEAT can also pressure or vacuum test each tube to discover leaks and conduct non-destructive testing.  Please contact us if we can be of assistance.
